Timeless Lawns install artificial grass, a surface that can be used 365 days a year. Working with the very best products, we can promise you a quality installation.

This fast drying and well drained surface maximises play time and creates a safe, stimulating and creative environment for children.

The most important aspect of creating an artificial grass lawn to the highest standards is preparation. There are no shortcuts to correct procedures. When artificial grass is installed to our standards and approved methods a three year warranty is issued for your peace of mind.

STEP 1
Survey the existing lawn to work out levels.

STEP 2
Removal of existing lawn to a depth of 70mm.

STEP 3
The entire perimeter is edged using 3x2 tanalised timber to ensure the sub-base material is supported. Cement haunching is used against a patio edge instead of timber.

STEP 4
Installation of a type 1 limestone to a depth of 75mm, over a stabilising membrane.

STEP 5
Compact using a whacker plate.

STEP 6
Installation of a 25mm layer of sharp sand then level off and compact to ensure a smooth surface.

STEP 7
Installation of a weed membrane.

STEP 8
The grass is then rolled into position.

STEP 9
For perfect seams we line up the joining grasses as well as the seaming tape.

STEP 10
The adhesive is then spread onto the seaming tape.

STEP 11
Next, the grass is gently folded down onto the adhesive.

STEP 12
The final step is to secure the grass with small nails to the timber edge around the perimeter of the garden.
